Maya Lange joined Destination British Columbia in 2014 and has been a leading force behind the data-driven digital marketing transformation for the organization and the tourism industry in BC. At Destination BC, she is responsible for leading global marketing efforts in 14 domestic and international markets to drive over 22 million trips to and within BC annually, resulting in $18B in revenue from tourism. She is passionate about partnerships with global platforms and works across Canada on key tourism priorities to grow Canada’s tourism marketing competitiveness. Prior to tourism, Lange worked agency-side in Toronto and Vancouver on accounts such as Kraft Foods, E*Trade, WirelessWave and client-side in Germany and France. Lange has an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and has been recognized as the 2018 Canadian Marketing Association’s Marketer of the Year and BC American Marketing Associations’ Marketer of the Year.
