Speaker Chris Dacyshyn
Long before bringing her own unique brand of purpose-led bravery to Bleublancrouge, Chris was helping advertisers use their influence to better people's lives in real and meaningful ways. At Cossette, Ogilvy and now, BBR, she has spent decades leading an impressive body of work that proves brand advocacy can produce staggering business results (and industry accolades), while elevating society at the same time. Much of Chris' work has snowballed around the world and stood the test of time.
For Dove, she not only helped shape Campaign for Real Beauty and the Dove Self-Esteem Project in the infancy stage, she also created a Titanium-nominated, sold-out play for women of a certain age and launched a baby care brand that makes moms feel beautiful, instead of inadequate. For Hellmann’s "Real" Mayonnaise, she invented their Real Food Movement. Her No Baby Unhugged campaign for Huggies educated moms on the power of skin-to-skin hugs, while generating unprecedented sales at home and abroad. Even before the word "purpose" entered the marketing lexicon, her campaign for Nike shattered stereotypes for women in sport and reignited brand love among female consumers in Canada.
