Speaker Alyssa Whited
Alyssa Whited is the Global Marketing Director for Call It Spring (of the Aldo Group), an on-trend, affordable shoe and accessories brand with a sustainable and fully vegan product offering. As Global Marketing Director for the brand, Alyssa spearheads the 360-degree integrated marketing direction for all of North America and over a dozen international markets.
Alyssa’s position as the Global Marketing Director for Call It Spring is backed by nearly a decade of experience working in PR and Integrated Communications for a number of Nationally and Internationally recognized fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands including Maybelline New York, Mackage, PC Home, Tweezerman and Garnier. Alyssa’s deep-rooted experience has equipped her with the ability to understand how to build brand equity, drive consideration and work outside of the box to achieve results that push the needle.
Recognizing the significance of her role not only as a woman in leadership, but as Black woman in leadership, Alyssa is using her experience and background to reshape the Call It Spring brand to further encourage diversity, education and understanding. From ensuring broader representation in Call It Spring’s global campaigns, securing partnerships with D&I motivated change partners (E.g. Black Buisness and Professionals Association, It Gets Better Project) and launching programs to support local BIPOC businesses, Alyssa is motivated to ensure that Call It Spring is contributing to being part of the change we want to see in the world. Most recently, Alyssa was appointed Co-Chair of The Aldo Group’s Diversity and Inclusion Branch, running point on all programming and planning related to amplifying The Aldo Group’s mission to create a diverse and inclusive environment of belonging, equal opportunity and accountability.
Alyssa has set out to break the boundaries of the status quo and will continue to lead Call It Spring as a thoughtful brand through it’s journey to creating a better tomorrow, together.
