A beauty enthusiast and longtime eco-warrior, Brandi Halls, Brand Director for Lush North America, has lived and breathed the brand for almost 18 years. An environmental and animal rights campaigner, and proud Indigenous woman, Brandi landed her dream job with Lush Cosmetics straight out of university, and it’s been bath bombs and bubbles ever since.
Beginning her career as a public relations intern, the company’s rapid expansion saw Brandi responsible for the comms launch of over 60 Lush store openings across North America. With an extensive retail portfolio and growing brand opportunities, Brandi’s role quickly developed into overseeing the planning and execution of Lush’s PR strategy for the North American Market.
In 2008 Brandi relocated from her hometown of Vancouver BC, to New York, to open and lead the North American press office, as the company’s focus on ethics grew, and began to shift towards edgy and ethical campaigns. With that, Brandi stepped out from behind her desk and onto the streets, campaigning, and interviewing as the business expanded. As the media landscaped changed, she became instrumental in implementing and growing Lush’s social media presence, before returning to Vancouver in 2012 as Brand Director.
Today Brandi acts as the company spokesperson and is responsible for leading the dynamic brand team, whilst developing and implementing communications strategies to drive the brand forward with an innovative and fresh approach. For Brandi, Lush is so much more than a job, it’s a family, it’s a vehicle for change and it’s a lifestyle; one to which she continues to dedicate herself.
