Carol Shmygol has 30 years experience in the world of marketing, having meandered her way to Calgary via Toronto, Halifax and Vancouver with Cossette – one of Canada’s preeminent advertising agencies. Shmygol has worked with major brands including General Motors, PEI Tourism, Bell, Scotiabank, and many more in between. She joined ATB Financial in August 2013, when she started her brand-side journey that eventually led to her current role of senior VP, brand. Shmygol’s experience has been on both the strategic and leadership side of business, with some of her work landing multiple Cassies along the way.
