Country Manager, Advertising
Tamir Bar-Haim is the Country Manager for Amazon’s advertising business in Canada. Bar-Haim leads a fast-growing, Toronto-based team that is focused on connecting customers who visit Amazon, IMDb, Twitch and the broader web with highly relevant brand experiences, all informed by billions of observed shopping and entertainment signals.
Bar-Haim joined Amazon in 2013, and was originally based out of Amazon’s corporate headquarters in Seattle. He supported one of the company’s fastest growing businesses as the Head of North American Sales for clothing, shoes, watches and jewelry. Bar-Haim also developed and led Amazon’s first dedicated marketplace sales team focused on Canada, while also participating in the launch of several new categories including toys, cameras and beauty. In addition, he led the business development effort to launch Amazon’s fine art category, which featured over 40,000 works of art from 150 global galleries at the time of launch.
Prior to joining Amazon, Bar-Haim spent over eight years at Microsoft in various leadership roles based out of Toronto and the corporate headquarters in Seattle. In his last role, Bar-Haim was responsible for growing the Windows business across Southeast Asia by setting the strategic direction and driving field marketing and sales across the region for both consumer and enterprise. Before this, Bar-Haim owned worldwide commercial sales programs and strategy for Windows across emerging markets.
